Neutrinos are very lightweight, but not massless particles, which hardly interact with other particles. This makes them difficult to examine. They are electrically neutral and relate to the charged leptons, electron, muon and tauon. If neutrinos are mentioned, usually electron neutrinos are meant, because about the other two very little is known.
