Palladium Palladium crystal
The noble metal palladium is very similar to platinum and like this is often used for catalysts and for jewellery. It is more reactive than platinum and cheaper than this. Palladium can very well absorb, store and then release hydrogen.

Tiny palladium crystals
Tiny palladium crystals, the largest are 1-2 mm in size.
